“Kingdom Seekers” is a group of young adults who meet for Sunday School and occasional fellowship activities. Instead of going to Starbucks or hanging around while your kids are in Sunday School, join us for a cup of coffee as we learn about our faith.  This fall we will be using the DVD series NOOMA.  The title, NOOMA, derives from the phonetic spelling of the Greek word pneuma, which means breath or Spirit.  We hear this Greek root in English words such as pneumonia, an illness that effects breathing.  The NOOMA series was created by Rob Bell, founding pastor of Mars Hill Bible Church.  Mars Hill is part of the emerging church movement.  The emergent movement favors simple narrative, social activism, and community to biblical literalism, individualism and hierarchy.  We see these themes as Rob Bell guides us through short films that help us explore our world through the teachings of Jesus.  Each week one of the church staff or class participants will lead the class.  Come search, question, explore, and join the discussion!
