Curriculum

Our curriculum is well rounded, thematic, teacher-created, and guided by the interests of the children. We will have daily Bible study, with chapel once a week. Students will be introduced to letters, shapes, numbers, colors, and will learn to recognize and print their name.

Admission Policy

St. Peter’s Kids of the Kingdom Preschool admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origins to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students of the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its education policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

Ages

Our preschool is open to children ages 3, and potty trained.

Tracy Knight
Kids of the Kingdom Teacher

My name is Tracy Knight, and I am thrilled to be the new teacher of Kids of the Kingdom.  I received my undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin – Hook ‘Em Horns!  Before having my family, I was a teacher for ten years.  I have taught 2^nd and 3^rd grades, and I also received my Masters Degree in Educational Administration.  Upon having my first son, I became a full-time mommy while volunteering at the church and with the classroom.  I also have led several math staff developments for area teachers.  I’m married to the greatest husband, Dusty Knight, and I have two wonderful boys, Brody and Cade.  Brody will begin Kindergarten this year at Spicewood Elementary and Cade will be in PreK with Ms. Starkey at the St. Peter’s Lutheran School.  We are members of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and my two boys have both attended Kids of the Kingdom.  In the little free time I have, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, scrapbooking, reading, snow-skiing, traveling, and shopping!  I am looking forward to returning to the classroom!
